Predict Fun is watchlist, not a Kalshi alternative — Kalshi stays #1 for US cash

A reader asked why a venue near the top of DefiLlama’s prediction-market table was missing from GammaPredict. Fair question. The 36-name catalog predated the BNB board. We added a watchlist stub, captured the live markets screen on 9 September, and left the Gamma Score list alone.

What we can say without inventing a fee card

Public pages and the captured board: Predict Fun runs on BNB and Blast. Collateral talk on their about page points at Venus. Dispute/oracle talk points at UMA. Wallet onboarding mentions Privy. We are not going to type a taker percentage we did not read on a live ticket. If you need fees, open their UI and our fees comparison method — official schedule plus the ticket, not a blog guess.

The screenshot on /platform-predict-fun is the markets board as loaded 9 Sep 2026, not a marketing render. If the UI has moved by the time you read this, treat the image as a dated capture.

Why it is not on the Kalshi alternatives page

Kalshi alternatives is a query about leaving a US CFTC designated contract market. The names that belong there are other cash or near-cash research routes (PredictIt, ForecastEx), a global crypto event board you can actually access (Polymarket), a practice board (Manifold), and a sports-crypto protocol if sports is the reason you left (Azuro).

Predict Fun fails that test on purpose:

  • It is not a DCM. There is no CFTC product list to read the way you read Kalshi.
  • $11.3M TVL (8 Sep Llama snapshot) is not “US event-contract liquidity.” It is pool capital on BNB/Blast. See TVL is not a rank.
  • Resolution via UMA is a different failure mode from a DCM rulebook. If you do not want to learn that path, this is the wrong venue.
  • Putting it on a “best Kalshi alternatives” list would be the SEO trick the audit told us to stop doing: one URL chasing two intents.

Watchlist means listed, not recommended

Flagship reviews get screenshots, fee sources, country notes, a Gamma Score we will defend. Watchlist stubs exist so the directory is not silently missing a name people will search. Score 74 on that stub is a placeholder band, not a claim we ran a full seven-factor review last night. Compare that honesty with stuffing Predict Fun into the top five of a money page.

Rain is still unlisted. Higher Llama TVL ($29.6M) does not mint a review. When we have enough primary-source notes to write one without fiction, it goes on the list. Until then, no ghost page.

If you landed here from sports news

Kalshi sports tiles are a map this month — circuit split briefing. A BNB venue is not how a Nevada or Michigan reader “replaces Kalshi.” If you wanted US cash, stay on USA. If you wanted crypto events, start at Polymarket and check access. If you wanted to inspect a new on-chain board, the watchlist note is the page. Three queries. Three URLs.
