Because regulatory outcomes decide access. Whether a venue can serve your jurisdiction is often a bigger determinant of returns than any single event view.
Treat it carefully. The incentive structure is not neutral, liquidity is usually thin, and the settlement source may be the venue's own announcement.
The published order, filing or docket entry. Reporting that an approval is imminent — even accurate reporting — does not resolve the contract.
